Agent Nelson Tethers just solved the biggest case of his career. So why isn't he satisfied? There’s still the case of a missing eraser factory foreman, a whispering madness is still creeping from mind to mind, and a troubling recurrence of... creatures... is lurking into the town.
The FBI's Department of Puzzle Research has marked the case closed -- are they sweeping it under the rug? Or worse, do they not even care? Worried that the case will languish forever unsolved, Tethers must go rogue and venture back to the eerie town of Scoggins, Minnesota to solve the mystery of "the Hidden People" once and for all.

Strange, but engrossing
I bought this after enjoying the original, and it's more of the same, funny and cleverly written, with nice hand drawn graphics. However, I felt that none of the puzzles provided as much of a challenge as some of those in the first, and only a handful of puzzles made me stop and think for a while. The rest were fairly easily solved. A lot of the puzzles also share similar mechanics, which can become repetitive.
The game is also finished quite quickly, and after finishing there really isn't much to do apart from complete the puzzles which you missed playing through the story, then that's it.
Would be 5 stars, but I think the game could have been better if more effort was put into designing clever puzzles, and if there was more content, especially after completion.
Avoid this dreary game
Played the first one too, and this doesn't improve on it at all. Puzzles are repetitive and nonsensical.... Really!... You actually have to guess on a Maths formula at one point!.... and I hope you know Pi to 10 decimal places.... Good grief!!!!
The story is really tedious by now, with the words Hidden People being repeated ad nausium. The ending is unsatisfying, and I basically regret buying both games at the same time.
I gave game 1 a score of 3 stars, but this is lower. 2 is being generous.
Oh and BTW, the voice skipping is NOT fixed.
I enjoyed this game and the first game, but the ending was awful, i couldn't really tell what went on and I would have liked to have seen what happened to all the other characters but apart from that it was a good game
