Dissapointing to say the least
I have been looking around for a decent music magazine for a while now and thought I would try the o so famous Q Magazine. I was excited to try something new but found shortly after loading up the app that unfortunately a spectacularly lazy effort has gone into presenting this magazine in a digital format. Having checked out other music magazines, the best in presentation being I think the Alternative Press, I have decided to opt for a print subscription to Q instead.
Really couldn't recommend this one!
The people responsible for this app deserve congratulating. They have achieved what previously seemed impossible and made an already crap app EVEN WORSE. It's riddled with bugs, crashes frequently, and suffers from various problems which other reviewers have been identifying for many months (e.g. it forgets what page you're on, and even forgets that you have purchased a subscription). Does anyone actually read these reviews? Are you sitting there thinking that you have done a decent job with this? Shameful. Don't waste your time or money on this.
Good magazine shame about the app
No criticism of the content, it's Q and I like the magazine But the app is slow, sluggish...forgets what page I'm on..is constantly updating kiosk (whatever that means) ...basically a pdf ..no attempt to adapt the reading experience to iPad and looks blurry and I have to zoom in to read. I'll just buy the print magazine in future.
