Ratings and Reviews
Useless for plastic card holders
It’s a bit pointless app for plastic card holders, it just looks like the company wants to make more money, otherwise how hard would it be to let people have both plastic card version and digital version, they the website says they are working on how to let plastic card holders to “exchange” for digital version. How hard is it for plastic holders to get a digital version online, your company has already got all the information stored, cause we uploaded our photos online to receive the plastic card version. So I don’t see the point of “exchange”, everyone’s got their photo on their plastic cards, it’s not like anyone else can use it.
Such an useless thing for plastic card holders.
If there’s minus rating for the rating, if definitely give it -10 at least.
Looks great, a shame I can’t use my existing railcard
It would be nice to use since I always have my phone on me and get worried if I’ve forgotten my railcard while travelling. I do find it silly that you’re unable to add an existing physical paper card and have it in both formats. It seems as if you can only have one or the other, but the physical card would be a good backup if you’re battery dies while the digital one is great for not having to wait for a new card in the post too! I hope you will be able to have access to both in the future.
Also, wallet integration would be a great addition too.
So much better than a card, just needs Apple Wallet compatibility!
A great system, works well and is loads better than plastic, but would be so much easier with Apple Wallet and location services to bring it up as a suggestion when near a railway line. Many TOCs are now making their tickets wallet compatible, surely no reason the Railcards couldn’t be added to Wallet too. The latest PassKit API seems to have the functionality to have what is essentially a membership card with photo so shouldn’t be too complicated.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
