Our three-year-old is hooked on these and prefers opening this app to any other on our iPad Mini, including various games, which is testament to how interesting and fun the stories are.
Despite being below the 4-6 age range, he has learnt many new words and is much keener to recall the stories as well as create his own.
Yes, they are quite expensive but not when considered the price drop and as a long-term investment that is portable and offers multiple approaches to learning via auto play, read to me, and read it yourself.
As residents in a non-English speaking country, the value is even more and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this collection. They are far more beneficial than spending a few pounds more frequently on lesser quality books, or worse, non-educational games.
Hopefully there are more collections to come for higher age ranges.
