① of the веsт... once you've figured it out.
エ have purchased lots and lots and lots and lots.... of 'music-related' apps, so I consider myself a good judge of music apps. 丅his particular app was actually one of the first 'music-making' apps I used after buying my iPad and I have to admit I found it pretty hard to work out as I was very unfamiliar with this style/layout, but it didn't take me too long to figure it out and once I did I found it a very cool way of creating 'fast-tempo' beats. I did manage to make some very cool, but unusual, sounds. My only gripe is that things tend to always sound very similar. Trying to create anything slow tempo was very difficult (I found anyway). But all in all; a terrific app.
Its audience probably already have it
Besides the tiny GUI...
This is a classic piece of software that is exactly what it sets out to be, though, I find that is also its downfall. As authentic as it may be, newcomers would probably be best off using something else, because let's not kid ourselves - this thing has a learning curve that is no longer one that you MUST tackle in order to get the same end result.
Therefore I find it Great as a historical reference piece and I recommended to those already in the know, but newcomers may want to look elsewhere, unless they are in it for what it is, rather than What it can get done.
Great app, BUT...
Great app but I am running it on an iPad 2 and the app crashes when I press "audio copy" every time.
Hope this gets fixed soon, as its a pretty important part of the export process for me.
