HD cockpit
The HSI lags slightly but isn't really noticeable when on instruments under normal circumstances. Slightly miffed that I didn't read the blurb and that you had to pay extra for all the other gauges that you would probably need/use. It would have been better to have just paid more to start with which I would have been happy about instead of feeling ripped off which I do now. Worse is you download one or more extra gauge before you notice that you can buy them all in a package but they don't give you your cash back for the ones you have already bought which is a bit greedy. Expect to pay more and more for anything from this company if you want a proper item. With that in mind, this is a good add-on for any dedicated simmer. I use FSX with a triple head to go plus ir head tracker. Suddenly having the 6 in front of you is a bit odd at first but you soon get used to it. The quality of the graphics is excellent. Word of warning on support though, the word is hopeless. Don't let that put you off buying this though and prepare to have to pay 2 or 3 times what you were expecting.
Stunning
Works really well. Nice and smooth and the dials are beautifully rendered. The airspeed dials are all in knots which is fine. Some aircraft I fly are in MPH so it would be nice to have an airspeed dial done in that format. Other than that this is a great app for any aircraft.
Flawless performance!
I use this app to teach air cadets about instruments in the cockpit, so with 1 person flying the actual simulator, the rest of the class can see what the instruments are doing and can pass the iPad around to see for themselves.
All the gauges work flawlessly, every time and are in stunning detail, yet highly responsive. Totally impressed with this as an awesome teaching aid, and also as a digital cockpit for my own flight sim when doing VFR.
