Our new RingGo pay by phone iPhone app is now available. With a new look and feel, the app helps you pay more quickly and easily by highlighting only your closest RingGo parking zones.
To quickly find a place to park in other locations, either on street or in car parks, just search via the map.
With payment by credit card or debit card, RingGo makes it easy to use your phone and pay for your parking.
Why waste time queuing in the rain or cold? Just park and use the iphone app on the way to your destination. You could be halfway there while motorists paying at the machine are still fumbling around looking for that last elusive 10p!
If you want to know where you're most likely to find a parking space check out our space availability solution with its traffic light indicator showing where spaces are most likely to be found. It ties in with bay sensor information that’s available too.
Use the RingGo app to pay to park across London eg Westminster, Brent, Bromley, City, Camden, Croydon, Ealing, Fulham, Islington, Hackney, Hammersmith, Hounslow, Kingston, Lewisham, Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth, as well as Bristol, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Sheffield and a host of other towns and cities across the UK.
If you want to use RingGo for business parking, check out our RingGo Corporate service or download your VAT receipts if you want to pay and claim.

RingGo parking – it’s the easy way to pay for your parking.
We’re buzzing to announce that we’ve added some cool new functionality for ParkBee barrier car parks, allowing users to select and open specific exits within the same car park, so you’ll no longer have to queue up to leave through the ParkBee-only barriers.
You might also notice that this latest update takes up slightly less space on your phone. Our developers have done some whizzy developer-y things to pack even more parking magic into a smaller box, so the latest update is slimmed down and faster. So… more storage on your phone for that latest box set… or perhaps just another folder full of cute cat pictures.
Ratings and Reviews
Much improved and reliable.
In the past the app has been quite glitchy but it’s much more reliable, easier to read, and offers more features now. Adding and removing cars is easy, if renting cars for example.
It asks you to select the car each time if you’ve more than one - it used to default to the last car selected, which caught me out a few times, when switching cars, causing me to pay for the wrong car.
My only suggestions would be to improve the search function, including search by postcode or road, and being able to see meters and availability in another area, to aid route planning. At present the map only shows meters nearby and how busy they are. I can see that by looking around me!
And if possible to take American Express or Paypal as an alternative to Visa or Mastercard, but that’s not down to the app.
Hi there, thank you very much for taking the time to re-review the RingGo app, it is very much appreciated as it helps us to improve the app. The search facility will allow search via postcode (as well as name, code and location). The maps screen will default to showing nearby zones and availability, but if you use the search facility at the top of the screen, you'll be able to update the results to show the zones and availability for the criteria you have searched for. Lastly, as you've pointed out, if not down to the app, but unfortunately we can only process payments like AMEX if the council or car park owner's bank accepts them.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience, we are extremely grateful.
Nifty app and a life saver at times
I’ve been using RingGo from the early days. Remember to check the app on your computer after you subscribe and remove all unnecessary options like reminders about when your parking session is about to end or other options that are charged 10p a go. These could add up to 40p extra per session to your parking fee. Despite a few issues, i love the app as it allows me to store two credit cards, and choose if I’m parking for personal or business reasons and charge the related card. I get sent email receipts and i can extend sessions from my phone if my session is about to expire. And I don’t have to run back to the car to get another parking ticket. Very handy.
Hi there, thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience, it is much appreciated.
It’s good - the only drawback is when it fails
I wrote a review on this app earlier, and I have to say it is very good indeed and I find it particularly easy and quick to use. Originally gave it two stars because it had an outage on day earlier this year, which through my plans for parking in central London into disarray. It means that our working lives are dependent on this app which is the only reason I do not give it 5 stars.
In fairness the developer came back to say that if there is an outage of the app, then the council is notified. That makes sense, and I would hope that they give the lovely guys with their ticket machines the day off!
Message to developer: if the app has failed, post a message to this effect so we know where we stand.
Hi there. thank you very much for taking the time to update your review, it is greatly appreciated. We have taken your comments regarding a message on the apps to our product team for further analysis, thanks again!
