New version much improved.
The game is more than one backwards step compared to previous versions! The gameplay itself is ridiculous. Players running away from the ball and never making a tackle. The clock keeps on going for what seems like an age. I played an extra 80 minutes on one game and it was still 0-0. You cant run from the ruck anymore which is odd. It would help if the game was using the correct rules.
If I am honest I wish I hadn’t bought it, and waited for the problems to be ironed out. It should come with a warning that it’s basically a Beta version.
Update: new update is much improved. Seems to have fixed most of the bugs that made it hard to play. Sometimes in career mode your player is quite erratic with his off the ball running so it is hard to get the ball to him. I like the way the developers have listened to the feedback! Keep it up guys.
This game is a throw back to Nintendo Sport games where you just run sideways, all the players bunch and you have no idea who passes are going to.
The previous Nations games allowed you to run actual rugby esq lines attack and put players into space, this has been taken away.
Loved titling the phone before, new controls are rubbish. Also no step & no pick and go. Will continue playing Nations 16 unless this changes dramatically.
The whole game feels very cartoony and the gameplay feels like you’re playing with ragdolls. It is not comparable with the previous games of the franchise and it is not worth the £5 I payed for it. That being said, it is still somewhat enjoyable and with some updates to refine it, it can improve.
Just a suggestion but please add Rugby Sevens as a game mode as the game doesn’t feel like there is much to do and it can be very repetitive.
