Fin it awkward to use
I can fault runtastic six pack app, nor can I fault the push ups pro or squats pro apps. I haven't used the pull ups app yet so please don't take this review as a reflection of runtastic itself. Runtastic itself is 5 star and has helped me accomplish my personal fitness goals.
However the sit ups app I find awkward to use. Holding the tablet in landscape mode against your chest whilst doing sit ups just makes me frustrated at how awkward it feels. I only made it past the first goal before I quit on the app and just counted myself before shaking the app to tell it I had done the set. I would like to have the option of a counter that counts along with you the same way that it does in six pack app. That way my sit ups can be counted along with my other exercises and not go untracked. Even if it was just as a second option. The way the other apps work for me is perfect.
I know that this review is based on my personal opinion and may not be shared by others. But to be frank the first 5 reviews I saw sounded like that of a marketing team where the guys in the office were asked to rate it if you know what I mean. I could be tong though. So I just thought to put a more detailed review. Don't take my word for it though. All I'm saying is try the free app before buying the pro.
Runtastic PRO Overall!!!
Overall the sit-up app is brilliant and so are the others I completely my tasks when needed and told too and if i have more juice in me i keep going!!
Plus i am getting results!!
Easy to use, good interface and keeps you motivated to do lots and more than the level you are set to do. Would need to add more variety of sit ups so it doesn't get boring after a while.
