■ What is the Smart Washer App?
The Smart Washer App supports 'Smart Check' function that helps you to take action when an error occurs in your washer. It recognizes an error code in Samsung washer display and informs how to take action.
■ Supported Washer Models:
- Check the Smart Check mark in the control panel and the information about them in the user manual.
- The "Smart Check" may be represented as "Smart Care" depending on the language.
■ Please check these items before using the Smart Washer App!
- External light may cause the camera recognition function to be incorrect. Adjust the focus and angle properly for the auto camera recognition to operate correctly.
- Check the supported washer and smart phone models.
(Other models are not guaranteed that they will operate normally.)
- Depending on the font you have set in your mobile phone, Application's screen may look different.

Status and notifications don't appear unless
The status of the washing cycle and notification to state its complete doesn't appear on the iPhone unless you keep the app open at all times which isn't practical.
It's a good app but impractical because no one keeps an app active all the time and even if the app is running in the background you still don't receive the notifications or sounds.
Hope Samsung fix this annoying problem
Unusable. Refuses to recognise the product.
February 2019, had machine 5 days. App does not recognise the product. No helpful answers or ability to manually install machine data. I will have to remove it, and rely on old fashioned telephone support. Clearly has not received proper testing at end user point.
Samsung smart washer app
I was a bit apprehensive to try this app on my iPhone, but did it and it was very easy , it worked straight away and linked up to my phone, brilliant if you ask me !
