Simply log on with your existing Online Banking details. If you don’t have any log on details, just download the app to sign up.

Not the best!
No way to show a 'running balance' so it's impossible to see what my balance was this time last month.
It also takes several days before some transactions appear, much longer than they do on my other banking apps. This makes it difficult to gauge if my balance is accurate. For this reason I now have a Lloyds account for my day to day purchases, it's app is much quicker and shows pending payments almost instantly. Edit, I ran a test on this, it took less than 3 mins on a rival app, santander app took three working days on a purchase made at the same time and shop. I've dropped my review from 3/5 to 2/5 for this reason.
Security seems good though, and I like the fact I'm entering random digits from a long pass-number, not the same digits each time. I also prefer the none finger print approach.
Why is the Iphone version much better than iPad?
Why is the iPhone version far superior to the iPad one? On my iPhone I can keep a track on my standing orders and direct debits, set up new payees, new standing orders and pretty much access everything that the full desktop version has. I can do none of this on the iPad version as standing orders, direct debits and payees are not available even to view let alone access. I cannot understand why both are not the same as it would sometimes be easier to use the bigger screen on the iPad!
Just updated and I'm pleased to see you can now set up a new payee through the app. That's why I've given two stars, otherwise only 1. It is not user friendly, you cannot make a payment on your credit card, I have to go on pc even though I'm paying with my Santander debit card! Until this update you couldn't set up a new payee. You cannot see a running balance on your current account. Quite frankly these are basic transactions/informative features that should be available on any banking app. In my opinion this is the worst banking app I've used!
