Ratings and Reviews
I am disgraced to see how Scottish Power treat there customers, I contacted Scottish power over one month ago now because they are continually raising my monthly DD, the attitude was not what I expected to be honest on the call, I eventually managed to make reason with the person on the phone because I was simply not giving up.
It turns out that my property has a 2 rate meter installed again after it was requested to be changed back in 2009 and the wrong one was installed again, my property does not have white meter heating or night store heating, it did have prior to renovation in 2007, I eventually got a customer ref number and was told I would have a return call but this never happened, I have since called back on a weekly basis and still getting nowhere, I logged a complaint with the complaints team and was given a ref number and a time slot and nobody contacted myself, I even took time off to ensure I was prepared.
I contacted S P again regarding my complaint but again nothing has happened, my next stage will now have to be the ombudsman and twitter if I don’t hear back this week.
Not A Fan Of The New App But Issue Is Now Fixed
Update - After logging out and back into the app, it now works fine.
But Scottish Power really should send out a simple courtesy email to users to explain to them to do this if they are experiencing issues with the new app. That would probably solve a large number of the 1 star reviews the app is currently getting.
Previous Review - I used to really like the old style app, very user-friendly. But now I don’t seem to be able to find the bills and payment section, there are a lot of broken links (such as clicking on Change Your Tariff or Smart Reader Meetings), plus the current balance figure is not up-to-date, it doesn’t include my most recent DD payment from 2 weeks ago?!? Please can these issues be addressed ASAP or can we have the old app back??
Still waiting for my £1600!
Terrible company - if you don’t want to be overcharged and then have to fight for your money back don’t use this company. My direct debit was too high but I’ve yet to be refunded any of the excess that I’ve paid.
I complained, was promised a call back later in the week to sort things out - never got the call. I then called again and made an official complaint and was given an appointment to discuss this with my complaint advisor - they didn’t call at the arranged time.
How can you deal with a company who lies and refuses to communicate to resolve issues?
Don’t think that this is an isolated instance - Scottish Power are rated bad on the widely-respected Trust Pilot website. In fact, they’re so bad that they haven’t claimed their Trust Pilot account - presumably because, as I have experienced, they are good at saying that they will investigate but then do absolutely nothing!
Scottish Power, can I have my £1600 please?
