Unallowable words.

This game could be a lot better if it didn't allow words which don't exist. The computer player puts in a lot of words which are not in the official Scrabble dictionary and ought not to be allowed. I discovered this when I wanted to know the definition of certain words which had been played. Some of these include 'OXIC', 'TORTIE', 'GOTHY' and 'EEW'. The stats screen has become incomprehensible, as it says there are '6248 Losses' and '126' wins, when I've not played anywhere near that number of games online! It also states the online best word is 'FOUGEANT', another word which doesn't exist, either in the official dictionary or any other! The online games are so slow and impossible to play sometimes due to the game disconnecting you and automatically forfeiting the game you were playing when it does. The number of Bingos is also incorrect as there is no way I've scored the amount it says. I used to know how many I had until it all screwed up, as it has with the most recent updates. The game needs to be overhauled to fix these problems, as they all make the game nowhere near as good as it used to be. It used to be a good game, but now is virtually unplayable - at least in a fair form.

The Thought Police Have Arrived!

Great app, and they have started to iron out some of the awful bugs which plagued it's recent makeover. One thing that I have found extraordinary though is that the good people at EA have started to decide what words I can use in my private messaging! I play this game with my partner who is often away a lot and it's a great way of keeping in touch since we're both scrabble addicts. Often we will joke with each other and will use the odd swear word, especially if the other gets a bingo. EA have stopped you using swear words! What is this? Some kind of Orwellian nightmare scenario? Since when can a corporation decide what language I can use in private with another consenting adult? I suspect it's done to prevent abuse from strangers so if that's case then we should have the option to change the settings when we play. I know this might sound a bit worthy, but frankly it's really cheeky. What will they do next? Suggest who to vote for? Tell us which God to worship?

Good app with a few flaws

Good scrabble game which appears to have the proper dictionary! Couple of niggles dock it stars though. First, I can only play a multiplayer online game (which is what I got the app for) if I also have an ongoing game against the computer. If I don't the online game simply will not update after the other player makes their move; the only way I have found to 'unlock' the multiplayer game is to open a 1 player game and then go back to the multiplayer. Second, the chat does not offer support for the iPad Pro - with the physical keyboard active it is not possible to type anything; with the keyboard tucked away I get the 'old' iPad keyboard layout, not the pro layout which utilises the available space better.
Oh, and it is also rather importunate when it comes to requesting a review - hence why I am here, in the hope of being able to play a game in peace!
