ShopShop - Shopping List 4+

I’ve been using this app for years and generally like it, but the latest update for iOS 11 is not great. When you bring up the box to enter stored items to add to your list, you also get the keyboard, which is fine. But to make the keyboard and stored list disappear you have to touch precisely on the thin horizontal bar and drag it down the screen so you can see your full shopping list again. What a backwards step from the previous version. Why can’t you just TAP ANYWHERE on the shopping list pane to make the stored items and keyboard disappear? Until this is implemented, I won’t be using this app much and wouldn’t recommend it - too user-unfriendly.

One of the most used and useful apps on my phone. Grocery shopping isn’t sexy but we all have to do it and this app has improved the experience a lot. Especially handy is the ability to share and sync lists with family members via Dropbox.

Worth having a read of the notes in the dev’s link above for advanced functions. And ignore the low reviews of people nitpicking features and colour palette like this is something they’ve paid top dollar for. This developer has made you a free app, if you don’t like it then just stop using it instead of leaving a crappy review, sheesh.

Never written a review before, but I have to add my voice here. This used to be a PERFECT app; latest update is a step BACKWARD in every respect! PLEASE bring back the old version!!! Specifically: get the messy Add-Item interface off the page, restore the strong (non-pastel) colours (key for those of us who think in colour!), bring back the ability to riffle through notes, retore ability to delete items from list of suggestions. These were great features — WHY HAVE YOU ELIMINATED THEM??? What made this app special was its utter visual simplicity. Been recommending it for years to anyone who'd listen — but now it's no better than all the others. Seriously people, enraging your core users is the quickest way to kill your business DEAD. Check out the litany of 1-star ratings and fix this. Fast.
