This app is really useful for computer/ phone owning families and for schools and teachers who use only this system and are trained properly to use it. It shows when the homework is set, when it has to be handed in, and the child can mark off that they have done the homework. This means that as the parent of a reasonably organised child, I can look in once in a while to see the homework which has been set, by which teacher, and if my child has already done it. The problems start when teachers forget to put the homework on the system, put the wrong homework on, or homework meant for another class, or homework which is not well explained, or with too short a deadline, then my child gets upset. Not the app's fault, obviously and at least there is proof as to who is to blame! Hence only 4 stars..... the app itself is very reliable on my equipment and my child likes the security of seeing all his homework from each subject at once with deadlines, and ticking it off when complete.

As a student I hate this app because

1. Teachers forget to put stuff on there and are like well I told u its your responsibility

2. Because teachers aren’t able to see how much homework we (as students) get per day we have had so much more meaning less time to have fun and more time trying to achieve grades

3. Recently this app has been very unreliable as tasks have been deleted from other students list (and my own) and then students are given detentions for a faulty app

4. If students don’t have a phone or access to the internet they get punished for something out of their control. My home WiFi was out for a week and I tried my hardest to do my homework given the circumstances, but was still told off because it wasn’t exactly right

5. Teachers are good at teaching not all are good at explaining, when teachers in my school set homework it is no surprise for teachers to put no more than 1 sentence telling students what to do. I feel that because this app is online that teachers think they can put a few words and get back to what they were doing. This means that students are left confused and then punished.

6. Yes there is a question feature but it is totally useless. This is due to the fact that teachers (who have shown the class) don’t get notifications or even get shown the questions at all

Too much at times

Although I like the app and use it frequently to see what's been set for my kids, I do agree with another reviewer (fiward) that the teachers tend to set homework outside of class time and I've had tears on a Friday evening with my children being overwhelmed with the sheer volume of assignments which teachers have added because for them it's just a few clicks.. I did wonder if teachers should be made aware that setting h'work late on a Friday is unfair. My kids do homework with commitment and diligence so I feel for them when it gets unreasonably stressful. Perhaps teachers should be able to view what the students already have in their virtual planners? What do you think developers?
