Club wars, no thanks

Played this game one and off for over a year now. It’s always been something to hop into when I have a few spare minutes which has been fine up until today. Last night club wars was introduced and what a laborious task this seems to be.
As it’s early days things may change for the better. Hey I may even have miss understood the club war thing all together and my review may be a totally wrong but I’m giving my opinion anyway.
So you have to complete war deliveries, much like shipments and the cargo deliveries which in itself isn’t too bad. These war shipments items are collected so you can launch your attack. However this means more stuff to fill your inventory which isn’t so great because as someone who doesn’t play for more than a few minutes here and there I don’t often find the parts to increase storage capacity. Trying to buy them in the market for hasn’t panned out too well. Not only that but you gotta have around 30+ free slots in the inventory just to hold the items for an upgrade 🤔.
So then my next issue is unless you want to use the same style of attack each time you need keys. Again as a very casual player I don’t often get these due the fact I nearly always miss shipment deadlines. Therefore I have next to no mountain items nor beach and these have been available for ages.
For a casual player this war feature is rubbish in my opinion.

Master of money grabbing games

To start with good, game has actually good a god interesting mechanic, and it is very addictive, but sadly it plays on your addiction and it’s design for sole purpose to take as much cash from you it can ... you might say well you don’t have to spend any cash ... true if you don’t ever want to get anywhere, nor get any important buildings, those are impossible to get without cash, to explain tower that creates you speed up token , might ask you 6 times to produce 5 garden chairs, one takes over 2 hours to make ... and somehow now one sells it on the market when you need it... it is a simple math ... not possible to finish ... it seems that game system check on your inventory and your quests, and thus filters the market, things you don’t need will be plenty and those your quests require will become rare ... it is a way to frustrate you into spending a cash, after a while you realise you are not playing a game but click fest hunting for an hour an item you need that suddenly no one sells.. if this was not true developers would have placed filter for you too to search a per item ... and we know there is a filter in market because you never see items higher level them yours ...

Dull really...and now down to one star.

updated I’ve just downloaded the latest update and picked the green city option..built houses, school police etc and already they moan because they can’t buy organic food.. ...and clearly they can’t walk a few paces from their house to go to the nearest shop! They can’t do this because I don’t have enough leaf simoleons to get the organic food shop...they abandon their houses and it’s now just sitting there peopleless.... and leaf simoleons are obviously in very short supply although I’m sure there will be a pop-up soon giving me a chance to buy some.....I am not going to spend any more money on this game because it’s too expensive and it’s constant ‘buy this, but that’ rubbish...typical EA.
I am now in the process of spending the in-game bucks that I’ve accumulated...when they are gone, so is this game...into the delete pile...a good game ruined.
And a further update...have just turned off notifications which are piling up asking ‘where is the mayor?’...well, the mayor has moved on to somewhere cheaper where greedy devs aren’t at you constantly to buy their over-priced in-app purchases....try Stardew Valley once and play further purchases and far more content than Sim City will ever me!
