Since iQuit is a very simple app to keep track of the time since stopping smoking. It also provides an estimated financial saving and acts as a motivational aid.

I wrote a version of this programme on the 25th March 2009... The day I stopped smoking.

Perhaps it's just the Scot in me, but I found the fact that I was saving my money as well as my health to be a great motivator through the cravings and during my weaker moments.

It also became a little like an unbroken chain of 'good days' - the more they accumulated, the more determined I was to not break the chain!

I hope that this simple application can help you to stay smoke-free as it has for me.

Good luck,

Hugh Williams

What's New in Version 2.4

This is a very minor update.

The update makes this version now backwardly compatible with iOS 4.3.
(I hadn't realised that the previous version excluded users with older devices)

- Why no MONTHS?

I often have feedback asking for months in the time display - Here's why there will be no 'months' in this counter...

I always wanted my timer to be as exact as possible and to be an 'even playing-field' for all users. With months however, if I quit on January 1st and you quit on February 1st, you'll be one month quit far quicker than me. - That's not fair at all!

We do know however that there are (almost) exactly 52 weeks in a year: Nice and straightforward. So please don't leave negative reviews for a lack of months - It's only fair :)

After 24 years smoking I decided to stop without any help, so thanks to this app I can see black and white the money I was spending and I feel horrified to check the amount of cigarets I'm not smoking and money saved! Not a easy battle but this app is really worth it!

Great App

Using this app to track my quitting had been great. As with everything in the world right now, it's all down to money, and wow, it adds up! I would recommend this app, no problems at all.

A challenge

Superb app. I'm a year since I packed up the smokes and never in my wildest dreams did I think I could do it. It's as if you don't want this app to stop counting if that makes any sense
