Fantastic App

It was recommended to me to get this app to check a mole on my daughter. After downloading it I have to admit I was debating if it would actually give honest results.
I followed the easy to use step by step instructions and answered the questions and the result was high risk and alerted in red. I rang the doctors at 8.15am the following business day and had an appointment for 9am. The doctor was very concerned about it and said she would have to be referred to hospital. By 5pm that day we had a phone call from hospital and was seen 48hrs after attending the doctors. This was concerning as it was so quick but at the same time reassuring that it was been looked in to straight away. The result was that it wasn't cancerous although the consultant recommended taking a photo in 3 months and if any more changes then to go back to GP and they will send her back to the hospital for further checks.
I strongly recommend this app as it has pit our mind at rest and also can save life's.

Too good to be true

I was initially thrilled to find this app and would have happily paid a one off fee for it even though it appeared to be free with perhaps just some paid extra features. Actually it isn't like that at all, though it's not apparent at first you receive an email a month after installing about a subscription starting at 5 euros a month. Not so much in-app purchases which implies a few buyable extra features. Perhaps it's worth it for some, but on principal I don't like the idea of being deceived and then expected to subscribe to a payment plan, when I could basically just use folders on my iphone to do the same thing as this app does. Here's a clue: any mole that's bigger than about 4mm and with a remotely uneven perimeter gets marked as "medium risk:observe for changes" which is something most people are more than capable of realising themselves using widely published advice about signs of skin cancer.

May have saved me a lot of heartache

Downloaded the app and was just trying it out as I do have a few miles. Took a pic of one and the result suggested I get it checked. Two weeks later I have had two operations to remove an aggressive Stage 1b 0.4 mm depth melanoma. This app may not be perfect but they way it analyses the image may have helped save me from a worse diagnosis in the future. The dermatologist said he was amazed I had seen this mole so early as it was in his view tiny and with such an early change from benign to invasive. Thanks all.
