Sky+ app is the best way to discover and manage all of your Sky TV and movies. You can connect directly to your Sky+HD box in-home to browse all of our content, set downloads and recordings and manage your planner. You can also set downloads, recordings and series links when you’re out and about so you never miss a thing.
To use the enhanced features you will need a compatible Sky+HD box and have your device and Sky+HD box connected to the same broadband network either with a wired or wireless connection. Please see the Help section of the app for more details.
In order to Record and Download programmes to your Sky+HD box you will need to register your Sky iD with the service at sky.com/remoterecord and simply follow the instructions.
Smart Series Link and photo viewing are only available to customers with a compatible Sky+HD box.
All recordings are FREE, however mobile network and/or Wi-Fi charges may apply.

If you are having problems connecting your app to your Sky+HD box, please make sure that your Sky+HD box and iPhone/iPad are on the same WiFi network. Sync exclusive to Sky Mobile customers
This is a great app & it's saved me quite abit of cash!! I brought one of them "Magic Eyes" So you can watch your Sky Tv say in the bedroom and still be able too change the channel...I got it all set up and working, great huh NO after a while it stopped so I brought another one for £25 and after a while the same thing happened it just stopped after buying 4 of them and yes the 4th one did the same STOPPED!! As it was getting expensive (£100) I looked on the App Store just too see if there was some sort of remote too control the "Sky Tv" from the bedroom and much too my surprised I came across this App "Sky+" which I've found too be a great App. It's does Pritty much the same thing as the "Magic Eyes"
(Via Wi-Fi) and the sky remote! And much too my surprise you can play all your photo's on your Tv as a Slideshöw! You can record or set a recording with the option of "Series Link" So you will never need a "Magic Eyes" or a "Sky Remote" ever again! You can even set a recording on your sky box from anywhere n the world 🌎 you can also add things too your planner or remove programs I donno what more I can say except it's the best App ever and it's defo deserves 5⭐️'s

Attention to detail!!!
I have been using this app for many years without any problems. Program selection and recording etc. Early last year I experimented with the part of the app that allows albums of photos to displayed on the TV. The albums of photos are on my iPad Air. The photos where sized on my PC to correctly fill a 40 inch TV. Then transferred to the iPad.
The results are quite impressive. Or should I say were!!!!!
Yesterday I prepared a new album with around 60 photos.... transferred to my iPad and......
What a load of rubbish.... utter utter rubbish.
The first of the new photos came on the TV screen and would not change to the next inline and could not be removed!!!!
I rebooted the Sky+ box.... deleted and reloaded the app.... twice!!!!
Then decided to try photos from one of my earlier albums that had been no problem last year.
Just the same result.... first photo comes on screen and stays on screen. And can't be removed without deleting and reloading the app.
Come on you sky software engineers.... Wake up. In all other respects you have a brilliant app and concept.
Get around the table... discuss this particular problem and target a solution and update for Next Week!!!!
I see many others have the same problems.
So please have a go at resolving this issue.
Incorrect Listings information
In the past I have complained to Sky about their lack of subtitled programmes via catch up and on demand to watch on TV or SkyGo and Sky+. I have a hearing loss and cannot watch and enjoy a programme I am unable to hear. So, I was more than pleased when Sky announced last year that they were introducing subtitled Box Sets. I have just tried to watch a box set listed as subtitled, but there were no subtitles! To say the least, I am disappointed, especially since I was on the verge of signing up to the Sky Mobile Phone service. I was attracted to the idea of using Sky Sync on my mobile phone, but am thinking what's the point, if I am going to be unable to watch programmes on my phone without subtitles!
