Where do I start?
I would start by firing the test and UAT team as this app has clearer not been tested.
Bought sky go extra to allow me to download and watch offline content. After 2 days of trying I am going to give up and remove the subscription:
I initially had a problem downloading content as it said I wasn't subscribed yet I clearly was.
Once I got passed this barrier, which including several uninstalls, I sat back on the train, looking forward to watching my programme. - waiting for wifi message upon selecting 'watch'! How can this message appear if the programme has been downloaded already?! Only way passed this was to delete the download - never getting to watch it.
Moved onto the next programme. Got passed the above error but then got video timeout error.
For some reason it looks to be trying to make a connection, as the spinner appears on my phones header menu. Again strange as this is supposed to be offline content.
So after 2 days of constant trying I give up and implore the CTO to either sack the offshore team (yes you probably have one to save pennies), or bring some real quality into the organisation and believe that quality should prevail over quantity.
To add insult to injury I have had troubles posting this review as well!!
Its alright but i dont like waiting long for updates that r nothing accept bug fixes! I just wanna complain that my little sister likes watching nickjr barbie movies and i go on sky go but theres a problem, if i want to watch some sort of barbie movie on nickjr it says Not compatible for this device. Or something like that so i want that fixed so we can watch more stuff and plz i want more channels like cbeebies or nickjr2 or other stuff! Please thanks xxx i hope this helped not to be mean i hope u do what i asked xxx thanks you also i wish we could see what comes up next on Live/ON NOW i mean the next programme that is coming up next, we could view info like we used to thats really helpful thx
HD format Please
I can't believe BskyB has not integrated HD format on there apps, especially sky go and sky movies! The main rivals to there movies and sports apps (Netflix & BT Sport) both have HD across the board on there flagship apps. Come on sky you've missed a trick here! Considering Sky has lost champions league football to BT Sport and Netflix is soon to upgrade to 3D format streaming it would be in BSkyB interest to keep up with demands and technology. Sky use to be the front runners, the cutting edge company in progress and user friendly development what is going on. If the CEO is not up to it. The king is dead long live the king!
