What's New in Version 2.2.3
• A small bug fix.
I love this convertor. I’ve got it on my Macbook to convert movies into Itunes. It does it perfectly and puts them in there automatically once convereted. The only negative of the free version is that you can’t convert multiple downloads in one go, but certainly that’s what you pay for amongst other things. a 3gb movie took about a minute to complete and an episode of a series took about 25 seconds. Multiple different apple formats to converet to, Mac, phone, iPad etc. I can’t fault this, it’s brilliant.
Straight forward video conversion.
I had most of my video collection saved as WMV format as I had always used windows before moving to a Mac.
Smart converter does the job of converting them to play on my Mac and builds a video library in iTunes to make it easy to access them.
I can’t see any reason to upgrade from the free version to a paid but this is so useful the makers deserve the payment!
I had a few MKV files that I just couldn’t get working on PS4. Tried a few conversion methods to mp4 them, such as using VLC media player, and it still wasn’t working. Got this app, selected ps4 from the list and they’re working fine. It would be nice to have some indication as to where the app is actualy putting your converted files, but still, great functionality for a free app.
