Fantastic Mindful App
I was excited to read about this app on the Positive Psychology website and will be trialling it within my class with the wider aim of bringing it into our school curriculum.
The fact that you are providing a lot of this content for free is wonderful and will hopefully get more people engaged and on board developing this effective skill.
Nice meditation app, with option to donate to a non-profit (which I will do happily) instead of a daft expensive subscription model. Would be nice if it would also sync with apple health, but that's only a minor suggestion. A bit glitchy when offline, but I can't bring myself to dock it a star.
I've been trying out a lot of mindfulness apps, and this one has my wholehearted seal of approval.
The narrator has a pleasant, soft Aussie accent, and speaks in a calm way without sounding like he's off in fairyland.
The meditations are plentiful and FREE, and very practical/easy to follow. It logs your time and what meditation is up next and allows you to save favourites.
The UI is not completely self-explanatory at first (as compared with, for example, Headspace or SBT), but once I figured out how to get into a course, I was away.
User-friendly, effective, free. Top notch!
