3) There is an option that can ask you to confirm if you want to end a game on the Settings screen. It's called "Confirm New/End" and if you're prone to accidentally hitting the New button during play then simply turn it on.

Try our other games "10 Pin Shuffle" and "Silly Saucers", also available on the App Store.

What’s New

Version 7.25

1) The 7.24 update would crash after creating a new background or card back using the camera or from the photo album.
2) Removed "Card Rotations" and "Card Shadows" from the Settings screen that appears when you press the cog wheel during game play.
3) New backgrounds - Aged Wood, Kittens, Puppies and Dolphins.

Bug Fixes in 7.24

1) Game Center stopped working when updating iOS because a "What's New in Game Center" screen would briefly appear and then disappear behind the user interface preventing the "Continue" button from being pressed.
2) On iOS 16, if you paused the game and changed your device orientation then the screen would mess up.
3) If you replayed a game with scoring turned off and then won the game and then chose to play another game, the same cards would be dealt again.
4) Some of the help message boxes were lingering around during Training.

Fantastic no ads

I had been playing solitaire on another app for years but was getting frustrated by the ads intruding on my playing. Then they added ads with sound even though I’d cancelled sound. So reluctantly I began the search for a truly ad free game. What can I say. Not only ad free but the old style of playing actually dragging cards as if you are playing with your own deck. Took me a little while to get used to this but wow, it all came back to me. It’s sharpening my 56 year old brain wonderfully. I have a problem with recognition of numbers so I’m retraining my brain as it misses things, so solitaire is very useful. The £3.99 one off payment is the best thing I’ve ever bought online. I’ve recommended this to everyone I know.

Still the Best Patience App!

I used to play patience with real cards, like my father before me, and then later on a PC. When I first acquired an iPad I tried various apps and settled on this one as far and away the best and bought the ad-free version. The cards are nice, it plays well and the graphics trick when you win is attractive.
I mainly play Spiderette, Freecell, Klondike (which my father knew as Fan-tan and I first met onscreen as Solitaire) and Spider Solitaire, depending on the amount of minutes I have to fill. And for variety, several of the other games, including some new ones that this app taught me. All are great!

PS I do not mind if you need to shorten this review by removing the last paragraph if you use this review

Superb except on latest iPad Pro

I’ve been using this app for years and years on all my iPhones & iPads and it’s fantastic. Nice graphics and a huge selection of games with clear tutorials explaining how to play each game if required. Unfortunately though this app hasn’t been updated yet to use the full 11” screen on the latest iPad Pro. It runs but it doesn’t use the full screen which is pretty annoying but after the great job this app has done for me over all the years I’ve had it I can’t bring myself to rate it at fewer than 5 stars even with this annoying issue.
