Brilliant update
I got this app about a year and a half ago, it was ok back then would only find songs with lyrics I. Then so no electronic music or anything which I found fairly annoying and for this reason I didn’t dislike this app I would still use it to find some songs but then I used it today for the first time in about 10 months and it’s absolutely brilliant they must have updated it because it finds allllll music electronic, humming music anything and it looks way more just refined it doesn’t feel so clunky when pressing things and has a way more professional feel to it so props to SoundHound
A powerful that lost it’s way….
This app used to be the go-to for me and my friends, Shazam (it’s well known rival) had lost it’s way and was awful, but now the table has turned. Shazam with it’s Apple investment has gone from strength to strength and this app seems to get worse.
New app updates seem to make it clunkier and it’s janky add-ons do nothing for me, it really struggles to identify even mainstream music and it’s database ain’t what it was.
Now I have a new bug, where it randomly comes on and destroys my battery life after being on for 12 hours solid, I’m slowly relegating SoundHound down my app order as Shazam moves up on my phone, come on SoundHound go back to the viral sensation you were only a couple of years ago.
Amazing app!!!!
This app is an amazing way to realise the song you have been humming all week when you don’t know the actual name! All you have to do is press LISTEN and record the song that you want to know the name of; you can hum it or sing it or play it from an advert and after about 7 seconds it immediately gives you the name of the song and live lyrics to sing along to!
I would definitely recommend this app to everyone!!!!
