Not quite there yet

This app is potentially really good news for Christian readers. SPCK offer a great catalogue of titles, many (though not yet nearly enough) now available on this e-reader.

A couple of things need sorting to fulfil the potential of this app.

1 Lines of text at start and end of pages are sliced in half horizontally. It doesn't entirely render them unreadable but it does slow the speed of reading as one pauses to decipher a line every few pages.

2 Opening the app overrides audio on the Apple Music app, for no good reason I can think of. You can toggle back into music, press play, and toggle back to this app and it'll hang together. But it's another irritating glitch.

3 In purchasing e-books on this app there is no option to apply a promotion code, so one always has to pay full price. I suspect this is a result of complying with Apple's rules about in-app purchases so they can take their cut. I guess there might be a workaround for that, but nothing in the app explains what that might be. A note in the help section would suffice - except the app doesn't yet have one.
