Some People Expect the Earth

Felt compelled to write a review for this, as there are lots slating these free speedometers for being 'rubbish'. I found no such problems, considering the limitations of the hardware. Constant speed was spot-on accurate with a dedicated GPS device, one can't expect a GPS speed calculation to react quickly. I tried a few free apps, they all worked but this was by far the simplest and best presented. For five stars, make it work in portrait and make it full screen on the iPhone 5.

Cool

Layout is nice, i've only ever used it on the bus and i'm not a driver so i wasn't by the speedo on the bus, so i'm not sure about the accuracy, but it seems to be accurate :)

The only bad thing is that is isn't optimised for the iPhone 5 screen, even though the iPhone 5 has been out for nearly a year now and most apps are...

If it did fit the iPhone 5 screen, i'd happily give it 5 stars :)

Don't listen to old reviews

Since the updates this has improved loads. There is a slight delay in acknowledging speed and a possible 2mph difference in speed but incredibly useful when your speedo is down (as mine was)

The developer, Bonobo, has not provided details about its privacy practices and handling of data to Apple.
