Squeezy NHS Pelvic Floor App

By Propagator Ltd

This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.

Description

Squeezy has been designed by chartered pelvic health physiotherapists working in the NHS.

It is suitable for all women who want to do pelvic floor muscle exercises (or Kegel exercises) and now also features a bladder diary which can be shared with healthcare professionals.

The app is particularly aimed at women who are seeing a specialist pelvic health physiotherapist for problems connecting to their bladder, bowel or pelvic floor muscles as it can be tailored to a specific exercise programme and set to remind you when to do your exercises.

It is simple to use, discreet, informative and has helpful visual and audio prompts to support your exercise programme plus it maintains a record of the number of exercises you have completed.

Squeezy has been clinically reviewed and approved by the NHS for its clinical safety, and has won several industry awards including ehi Awards 2016, Health Innovation Network 2016, National Continence Care Awards 2015/16 and was a finalist for awards including Advancing Healthcare Awards 2014 and 2017, Abbvie Sustainable Healthcare Awards 2016.

Doesn’t work on Apple Watch

Well this was quite a disappointing experience!

1. In description it promises discrete tracking on Apple Watch.
- the problem is, it doesn’t work on the watch at all. Goes black as soon as you lower your hand! Doesn’t vibrate, doesn’t ping doesn’t do anything! Not usable on the watch.

2. The exercises are very limited. Max reps is hard limited to 10. Why!

3. The UI is more funny than usable. Some web app wrapper that keeps flickering on every tap. Ugh!
