Welcome science fiction thrill-seekers and fantasy fiends! It has come to our attention that the steam-powered future timeline, that you have fought so hard to innovate, has changed, and we need YOU to archive an alternate history using our new Steampunk PhotoTada camera!
In this future of anachronistic technology, the Victorian-envisioned quest for a steam-powered society is no longer the goal. We do not know when this happened! What we do know is that we need YOU to detail how this future has come about. We believe other time travelers have been playing around with phase shift technology; but, alas, that is for you to unearth through your own speculative pixel fiction by using the filters of our iPhone camera app.
So that you feel more at home in your sub-genre, we encourage you to change the looks of your photos to the once innovative future called Steampunk. After you take a photograph, you can then infiltrate Steampunk into other foreign technologies such as what is called "Facebook" or the "digital photo album." You can even send your photos over what we have heard referred to as "electronic mail" or "email", whatever that may be. Good luck on your undertaking…
Features of this iPhone camera application include:
• 9 color settings including sepia, black and white and X-ray

• 11 borders and frames

3. More FX
4. FX now rotates with images
5. Images are workable in 3 sizes, up to full camera resolution
6. Random image FX after taking or importing a photo
7. Faster interface
Good Stuff... But...
The user interface is fun, but please, make the image one is working on bigger. It is much, much too small.
Also, every photo app I have I can upload photos off my Flickr page and use those, on this app I have to use small files. I want to maximise my quality, not reduce it.
Also, borders are excellent, but rather than the app building out from the image, it puts the boarder on it. Which means that some of my well composed models lose a foot or are verging on parts being out of the frame. So please address that, or give a choice of narrow borders with cogs too.
Good app, and with a few changes could be brilliant.
I hope to return and give a better review.
Brilliant! Not just for Steampunk fans this, it adds a myriad of grungy effects that gives most pictures a gritty edge over the opposition; and it does it with some style too. The iPad version (the only one I have seen) is wonderfully dark, intuitive, and great fun. I really enjoy using this app. Great stuff!
If all that mattered was the user interface, this would get top marks - it's attractive and well thought out. But that's where it stops. Very basic, common effects are dolled up with SP names, but that doesn't make them any better. What it does, it does competently, but there are far better, far more versatile photo effects programs available for free in the App Store that are more deserving of space on your device.
