StuffIt Expander opens files created with WinZip®, 7zX, iShrink, SimplyRAR, Rarify, Rucksack (formerly iArchiver), BetterZip, RarMachine, GUI Tar, CleanArchiver, Springy, TarPit, RAR, Ez7z, Keka, and the compression utilities built into recent versions of Windows and Mac OS X.

I love this
The least annoying, the fastest, the simplest, and the most reliable unpacking/un-stuffing/un-zipping tool I have. Wish everything worked as faithfully as this.
FAIL... Reminds me of a song, "still failing after all these years"
I've had issues with this expander for ages. I had abandoned it, but because it has such an easy no-click unarchiving process, I decided to give it another go. First up, a password-protected RAR. And it failed right there!... Kept asking me for the password again and again (Zipeg had no problem with it). Ugh... Why did I bother?...
Not a keeper
I want to expand several archives to folders of the same name then remove the archives all in one go. Stuffit Expander insists on appending '.zip Folder’ on the end of the folder names with no option to stop it from doing this, and doesn’t expand more than one archive at a time. It can remove the archive afterwards so it’s not completely devoid of options but it’s not a keeper.
