SystmOnline gives you as a patient, easier access to your GP and medical data, allowing you to conveniently manage your healthcare.
Through the SystmOnline app you are able to update your contact details, book appointments, request repeat prescriptions, view your medical record and more. If you are unable to use any of these features it will be because your GP practice has not yet made them available to you.
Note: In order to use this app, you must have a username and password given to you by your GP or other healthcare professional. If you require assistance using the app, please contact your GP or healthcare professional.
Added support for iOS 10.

If I had a choice I would delete it!
Unfortunately, shoddy software like this is often forced on users by organisations that have no understanding of software development or testing, and don't actually used the software themselves. I must now use this app to order my prescription, and it has been a terrible user experience since day one when the account sign up process failed and it took 3 attempts and calls to support to resolve. It annoys me that I must log on to the app every time I use it. The UI is not intuitive, it is confusing for new users to work out how to actually order a subscription. When you have placed your order it displays a message "your prescription will be ready on the date above" but displays no date. Looking at the help text it has "???" markers suggesting that it was never completed, it was certainly never reviewed during testing (if it was ever tested). Surely the NHS must have someone who understands enough about software to be able to make an informed choice about the systems they force on their patients?
Horrendous and not fit for purpose
This is the worst patient care record app going. Sadly I have had to move doctors into an area where they use SystmOnline. Previously was using Emis Patient Access. There is simply no comparison!! As someone who lives with chronic health care conditions I loved Patient Access, I could view all my test results, click on them individually and see the results in a graph. Now they are in a list that makes no sense and you cannot compare the with your previous test results. I use the Health app, on my iPhone, to record blood sugar, blood pressure etc. These synced to Emis, so the diabetic team could easily see my results. All my documents and letters are scanned on to Emis so I could always easily find a consultant letter or test results.
I need to be able to take responsibility for my health as I suffer with a few autoimmune conditions. This application is way behind the times, is truly a waste of tie and not fit for purpose.
Cannot find one positive thing that this does that makes it helpful and useful for us patients!!!
What’s the point?
So, this whole system online thing was put on me by my gp two years ago. Somehow I get the feeling that they did because they were required to. There was literally no benefit in using the ‘service’, not even to find something out. There was no ability to make an appointment, no ability to order a prescription. Despite there being an option on the compulsory form I had to fill out, it gave no information on my medical records. It didn’t even have information about my surgery apart from that it was my surgery. It was annoying that you had to use simple passwords that would enable you to log in for no more than a minute. And despite a compulsory sign up, it seems that if you don’t use it for a while, the system removes your account. I’m just curious as to why we’re expected to waste our time and memory space on this.
