Tactical Soldier is a tactical squad level turn based game where you control a group of soldiers trying to uncover the dark secrets of an army research base invaded by zombies.
From the makers of Monster Ball, Smack Boxing, Smack Hockey, TouchWars and ElectroCute, we go back to the roots and re-invent turn based gaming in a modern, mobile world.

What's New in Version 2.0.2
Fixed critical bug in campaign 1 chapter 4 with story script not properly processing entering room.
Good but flawed
Fun game but with some annoying (fixable) quirks which deny it a five-star rating. #1 - why can't soldiers carry more than one weapon? (Rifle and sidearm?) #2 - why, on emerging from the bunker, are all the Team's hard-earned Skill Points lost? This is irritating and unnecessary, not to mention unrealistic. #3 - when you pick stuff up you have to drop other stuff; why can't you just pass it to another character? #4 - most irritating of all is that when you reach a plot point, one character will immediately move to complete a task often leaving the others high and dry and suddenly surrounded by undead hordes which magically appear in a cleared area. This can also transport you to another area, with no way back, which is very annoying when you are in the middle of a cumbersome picking up or swapping items operation.
While all these quirks make the game more difficult, it feels like lazy programming or plotting and gives an unrealistic flavour to what would otherwise be a great little game. Three stars feels too mean, this scrapes four but should be five.
Only costs £3....... And then another £2 for each campaign
I would of given this five stars because the gameplay is amazing its fun and addictive. But and there is a big but, you have buy the game fair enough £3 good price but then once you have complete the first campaign, you then have to pay another £2 for the next campaign which to be honest changes my original opinion of " its nice to see a quality game on ipad" to " yet another person who wants to milk as much money as they can". I suggest that if you want a good strategy/zombie game then buy this, but just be prepared to face paying to keep playing
Undead Jaggered alliance Brilliant
A couple of minor crashes keeps me from rating this 5 stars, but nothing too annoying.
Also I would have like to carry my ability points from one campaign to the next but I guess it would have got much harder to balance the game.
Price was fine for me (is there a sale on) £0.69 to buy and £0.69 for next campaign. Cheap! I'd happily pay £2 & £1.50 for each additional campaign
