4/5 An excellent nostalgic romp
"Everything from dice rolls to performing various in-game actions looks and feels authentic."
4/5 "...can’t recommend it enough and I’m happy to have Talisman once again take a prominent role in my gaming life..."
The legend begins with a single-player series of adventures designed to invite both veterans and newcomers to explore the land of Talisman. Talisman Prologue focuses on creating narrative depth through its single-player campaigns. The story unfolds as the player rolls dice to move around the outer, middle, and inner regions of the board. Each space will require the player to draw a card or resolve a special effect, leading your hero to encounter monsters, discover friendly followers, and gather treasure
•Based on the Talisman board game
•Classic board gaming on the move
•Single player play
•50 quests to play through
Added Japanese and Chinese language
Ratings and Reviews
Delighted I discovered this game. Lot's of different characters and quests and tons of replay value. Great soundtrack that somehow never gets annoying, nice graphics and it runs very smoothly on my iPad 2. Would like to have a save game option sometime though. Five out of five from me, definitely recommend this one.
Too much luck
A great game and I like the missions style of game plays.
Unfortunately the game becomes almost unplayable as on missions where you require a talisman, the only way to get one is via the cards. I played a game with over 350 move still waiting for a talisman! This would be 5 stars if they updated it so that the warlock quest provides a talisman like in the board game.
Latest Update. They promised multiplayer in this game but cheated their customers. If you jump to Digital Edition instead why not give Prologue players a copy? Many of us only purchased due to the promise of upcoming multi.
New Update - Nomad games have released a new separate version of the game with the multiplayer we were promised. Are we getting the new version or are Nomad games cheating us?
A very enjoyable game. I like the mission structure and like everyone else I'm eagerly looking forwards to the multiplayer upgrade.
Update: Like the new characters but we are still waiting impatiently for pass and play.
