So many problems...

Don't get me wrong, it's a great game. However, many glitches have appeared recently... I got a new iPad not so long ago and synced it with my old one so the avatars and stuff cross over so I don't need to start over. (Great feature by the way!) It took aaaaaaggeeees to finally cross over but it did eventually. I filled a chest up with stuff and the game crashed. I reloaded it and the chest was empty and the items were gone. Luckily there was nothing tooooo valuable, but still annoying. No new NPCs will move in despite me having the correctly decorated houses which I still can't seem to fix so I decided to built a new terrace further away. I built multiple houses and spent ages decorating them. I left the world to collect supplies from a world I hadn't yet synced on my old iPad and when I came back the houses I had built completely vanished! And so had the resources used to build them! Overall this game is amazing but there are still many flaws. Lastly, a few suggestions: maybe a setting that allows me to disable the joystick that builds/mines stuff? I frequently find myself accidentally hitting it and building/mining in random areas. Also, certain accessories can sometimes ruin the look of my avatar when equipped. Perhaps a setting to prevent them from being seen yet still work? I don't know, sorry this is so long but thanks for reading.

My opinion

Generally, the game is really good and quite exciting. My only problem is that there isn't a way to get back deleted items. I thought that maybe you can add a feature where if you accidently put a rare or any good items you like ,maybe if you have a choice to make an item a favourite, there will be a yes or no question to make sure you want to delete the item.
I have lost my drax after I swapped it with dirt as I wanted to use it but I didn't realise it was in the trash part and then i lost my drax...
It also seems like you have fixed the map and character easy to delete problem which I like, as i once let my nephew use my phone while I take a shower, then when I came back i couldn't find my map, which had everything I worked for (I wasted so much of my time on that map 😿). Since my map was deleted, I couldnt find a purpose to play the game anymore, and finally decided to delete the game. After re-downloading it, i realised i had not backed-up my character (I had a terra blade and a pickaxe axe, and most of the end items). I re-started it then, for some reason, a monster dropped a drax which i was very grateful for, only to have it deleted because of some dirt.

REGULAR CRASHING

When I first started playing Terraria, I found that the game ran smoothly and I could play an entertaining game without problems.

Gameplay is fun, and the graphics are incredible.

BUT, since a recent update, it crashes nonstop. I can play up to twenty minutes before it crashes. Sometimes it crashes as soon as I join. And if I retrieved something from a chest and then crashed, I would lose everything I got.

Today I lost a full inventory of end-game hardmode materials and items, including my bee and turtle mounts, 88 beetle stuff that you need to craft beetle armour, rare mob drops which are used in crafting some of Terraria's aesthetically pleasing wings and some gift weapons which I don't have duplicates of. I am utterly disappointed and wouldn't recommended this game to anyone, due to the crashing.

Such a shame, because otherwise, this game would earn my 5 stars.

Due to the crashing, this game is crap.

Now I'm going to play PC Terraria. Oh wait, that version also crashes! ( though not as badly ).

Minecraft or the sims are the only games I will play from now on, as their customer help is much better, they address the problems much more, and so far I have not played an update which has crashed repetitively. Auto save also means that if I crash, I don't lost my progress.

Unless this game improves and compensations are provided, I'll be looking for a partial refund.
