Rinne and Weber Tests

Transform your iPhone or iPod into a tuning fork that can be used for Rinne and Weber tests. With this app, there is no need for carrying a regular tuning fork and still be able to perform those medical procedures efficiently.
A tuning fork held next to the ear or placed against the skull will stimulate the inner ear to vibrate, and can help determine if there is hearing loss. The Rinne tuning fork test helps evaluate a patient's hearing ability by air conduction compared to that of bone conduction. The Weber tuning fork test helps determine a patient's hearing ability by bone conduction only, and is useful when hearing loss is asymmetrical.

Simply doesn't work. I thought they'd found a way to make an iPhone vibrate like a tuning fork - it sounds stupid now but not so long ago so did having a computer in your pocket. You simply can't assess bone conduction with this. Stick to your tuning forks folks!
