This is the first book of this Trilogy: Jester Bit is the main character and lives in the fictional land of Fussbutt, Seldom See. He is a friendly, jolly chap, who loves to play tricks on his friends. He goes to the Funfair with his family and meets Ozzie, a spongy character, and others, such as Posy, with which Jester goes on the Ghost Train, Helter Skelter, Merry Go Round and other attractions, even visits the Hall of Mirrors! The clever rhymes, wonderful narration and illustrations by James Field take you on an unforgettable adventure! Not to be missed!

Original and surreal

This is the first story of three, set in The Land of Fussbut, Seldom See, and follows Jester Bit and his friends on a fairground adventure. The characters are diverse, intriguing and timeless and it is obvious that much thought has gone into their creation. As a teacher, I can see the opportunities for cross-curricular work and the many discussion points which could be raised. I love that there is a choice of Welsh/English narration and that parents can choose between a UK/US English version.
