The Gardens Between 4+

This is a rare gem; as a game it's hard to describe but essentially you play two characters moving back and forth in time, moving from one world area to the next by capturing energy. Figuring out how to capture the energy and keep it intact until the end of the stage is the tricky part, as it involves puzzling out the correct place for each character to be as the timeline moves.

It's beautifully designed, the graphics are great (especially during the stunning opening sequence, set in what looks like Japan) and the gameplay is relaxing and charming. Five stars all the way!

Not what I was expecting but still very good, clever game mechanics with quirky ideas thrown in to surprise and delight especially liked the tv moment, worth the 💰😃

Edit: I’m now further on in the game and wow it is awe inspiring, wish I could add on a sixth 🌟 thank you developers for such beauty.

Sorry to keep going on about how amazing this game is but I’m totally transfixed, the game mechanics keep adapting in more and more inventive ways, the visuals are a feast for the eyes and it has a pure magical realm feel to it. I’m so grateful to the developers who’s hard work makes this possible.

Well I’ve just finished and am blown away, if I could have imagined my perfect game this would be it, I was devastated when it was over but the ending was lovely, it staggers me how creative the developers of games like this are, the best games evoke such emotion while also giving unique gameplay, this did that above and beyond. 🌈

The graphics are stunning. Every level is beautifully designed.

The game play starts as deceptively easy but is more challenging nearer the end. More of a short break teaser then a hard puzzle that’ll make you ponder for ages.

Some levels have really good concepts, like the dancing cubes, which I would have liked to have seen more of.

Th story though, despite having no text or audio, is really really sad. The more you play the more you can see how much of the characters lives are being thrown into chaos by one of them moving, and everything they’re going to lose. You can’t help but feel sorry for them.

My only real issue is there’s not really that many levels considering the cost. And some of the levels are really quick as well. Maybe they’ll add more though in an update?
