Well that was a waste of time.
Expected great things when I saw the app advertised in the local CooP ... now I've lost my (cards) and having been using the temp one for ages.
Wonderful I thought. Load the app: register, and get a virtual card in the process; and all without phoning some wretched call centre.
Firstly: it needs your card number, and then your postcode.
Secondly: there is *no* way you can build your profile on line.
... I.e. actually on the web site.
Thirdly: it only works in the Oxford area, so what the heck is the point in launching it in Swindon?
(CooP -- get a grip!)
Fourthly: the app looks like a glorified adverting tool: to be used by the tools at the CooP.
We aren't stupid; OK, change that. (Most) of us ain't that stupid to fall for this type of glorified advertising, because at the end of the day! -- That's what it is.
It's a platform for the fat cats at head office to crow to each other over.
... And for the flax haired seconds to wallow in.
It does not befit this member, not one little bit.
Seems like a starting point
It’s great to reduce the amount of cards we carry, however I would like the card added to my wallet on my iPhone as my costa card etc is. Rather than having to go into the app each time.
Biggest issue is the app signing you out. If you lose your card details it’s painful, maybe allow us to sign in via our email also.
Not a good advert for the Coop or Waracle
Just joined Midshires, followed all the blurb and using my new membership number, tried to login to the downloaded App on my phone. Repeated attempts and the same login failure message and then the same on my iPad. A waste of my time and not an auspicious start to my Coop membership. My advice to the Coop? Get a new App designer because only one of Waracle’s Apps gets a score over two and a bit.
