The Register - Biting the hand that feeds IT
With more than 5 million readers, The Register is the one of the world's biggest online tech publications.
It has news desks in London, San Francisco and Sydney to make sure you get the news you need wherever and whenever it happens. And it has columnists who'll give you an interesting take on the implications.
It has an active community of IT Pros from across the world, who discuss everything from cloud to chips, systems design to sys admins, Virtualisation to Vatican bloggers, Latvian hackers to liquid crystal raygun turrets.
For an original slant on the world of technology, you could do worse.
The Register. It's where tech lives.

Nice to have, not nice to use
Great news at your fingertips
After the update I thought you might have fixed it but the original issue is still there, and makes it really difficult to use. Everyone else manages to make a UI that is not impossible to use, why can't you ?
UI is really poor, scrolling is bad, articles open up unintentionally 50% of the time as you touch the screen to scroll, frustrating
The app is now pretty much useless due to the prolific annoying adverts at the bottom of the screen! Get rid of them or at least offer a paid version for those of us who would be willing to pay to not have our eyes burned out by this nonsense!!
Ads in latest update have ruined it.
Have instantly lost interest in the register app.
Am happy to pay for an ad-free version if one becomes available.
