What's New in Version 1.0.3
Minor bug fixes and optimized performance.
Full of bugs and problems, it's like they didn't even bother playing it through to check it when they finished.
First problem appears less than a minute into the game. Thor's dialogue was positioned to the side of the text box, half of it continued off-screen and made it impossible to read and understand what he was saying.
I continued on nevertheless and found that the combat system was poorly implemented and rather uninspiring. The only decent thing was the blocking animation, with Thor spinning his hammer in front of him to act as a shield. I then continued for about a minute more before I hit a dead end. One of the tutorial messages that tells you how to play the game wouldn't close no matter where I tapped, rendering the game unplayable. After that, I quit the game and uninstalled it. It would probably get past that glitch if I had restarted the game, but after noticing so many problems after just a few minutes of play, I wasn't prepared to waste anymore time on a poor looking game with very average gameplay anyway.
All in all, I'm appalled that an official game made by Marvel themselves could be this badly done. It seems like nothing but a shameless cash-in, I'm glad iit was temporarily free when I downloaded it.
Good if you love thor
For starters the game is designed for iPhone and iPod so that's why people are losing half the subtitles an yes sometimes the frame rate is slow on the ipad but the games good really good for a App Store download people have become far to critical far to quickly baring in mind two years ago angry birds was the best we had so to all the slaters think again the story is good yes repetitive but all the same very enjoyable my advice is if you love thor take a chance on it
First of all the graphics are terrible, the game isn't even full screen and after 2 seconds of walking around, Thor becomes the slowest guy ever! All that you do is go around attacking the same enemies, this game doesn't even have a real story! It's just repeating the game over and over again and the way he attacks the enemies looks fake. If you are reading this, I suggest you don't download this, I'm lucky I got this for free and didn't spend any money on this crap. If you don't have this game I recommend you don't get it, even though it's free, don't waste memory on your device! That's all.
