Version 3.16.0

We’ve been super busy making improvements, such as adding in sparkly new app and notification icons, as well as tool-tips. We’ve also cleaned the place up by updating terms like Go Roam and Unlimited to make things easier for you. Plus, we've started refreshing Add-ons, and spruced up a few areas with the new style that we introduced last time. It just keeps getting better!

As always, we've fixed a few annoying bugs that we've found to make sure everything’s running like clockwork.

Slight issue

I have been with Three ever since I got my brand new iPhone at Christmas. The deal I get is a great steal as it’s very cheap as I get 5GB of data and unlimited texts and calls, which is great. I hadn’t had any issues whatsoever with Three for the whole 7 months i’d had the phone, although for some reason a few weeks back the app was showing up with someone else’s information! I was simply checking how much data I had used and how much I had left as my Mum told me to just to ensure I hadn’t gone over. I opened the app for it to say I had changed my SIM card and it came up with someone else’s plan! Now if you have an iPhone you probably know that it’s not very easy to remove the SIM card from its storage area, so when it told me this I was very confused. I proceeded onto the app where it showed that I apparently had 30GB of data and that I had been paying £60 a month! I had not and I was very worried someone had my details.
I went to my nearest Three store and told them the situation and all they said was ‘well that’s never happened before’ they told me to restart my phone and I did and nothing happened. I then had the idea to delete the app and re-download it, and it worked. It was back to my details and such. But the point is, is that someone else’s details were on my phone, surely meaning that my details were on someone else’s phone!!!!

There is unlimited hotspot now that’s why it’s gone.

So yesterday I called three about not being able to see my hotspot allowance. And they informed me that it’s not capped at 30GB of data anymore and now there is no allowance and you can use as much of hotspot you want. So previously if you had 100gb data plan or an unlimited data plan you were capped at 30GB Hotspot so now you’re not. You can use as much as you can as there is no limit well there is a 1024GB data limit for people who have unlimited data like me but who uses that much a month. This is why they have removed the hotspot allowance on the app. No other company offers this and three are honestly the best company for data and that’s awesome. 💯♥️ Also this took effect on 4th of October to existing and new customers. So we are all benefiting. Hope this clears up why they removed hotspot after the new update. (This is the bit you change you existing reviews to 5 stars) ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Make the swap

I change over to Three 6 months ago from O2 which I had been with for over 10 years. I had a new iPhone at the time so took up a SIM only contract that allowed me to use my data in many countries outside the EU for free and was surprised how great the Three packages are for traveling around the world (make Russia your next ‘home’ place please); easy to understand, flexible to change and transparent with costs and billing.

Since being with Three I doubt I will change provider unless there’s a better offer out there. The only down side to Three is the week signal coverage in some areas of the UK but apart from that... they rock!

Oh and the new Three app they have is incredibly helpful and makes it easy to keep track of your bills and package allowance. Keep it up Three. Bye bye stingy 02.
