Potentially Excellent!

I agree with D'Silva, the hour hand needs to be truly analogue and progress through the minutes as a normal clock would. With this corrected the App would be very good indeed. It would also help in trying to explain what analogue means in terms of clock hand movement.

I particularly like the English UK reading of the analogue times, eg "a quarter to six" etc instead of "five forty-five".

The next stage is to add the twenty four hour clock for completion, but even now, as it is, I think it is the best App available of its kind for the iPad.

Not very inspiring

This is a totally silent app! No sounds at all.
OK for the whole hours and times from 5 minutes past till half past the hour but no good for times from 25 minutes to the hour onwards. These are not explained at all. The writing doesn't correspond with the numbers on the clock. I think words are important for kids to learn. Not silence. I am sure ther are better apps a ail able.

Hour hand only moves to hour and half hour :-(

D D'Silva

Disappointed to see that the hour hand does not move smoothly between hours. It only alternates between pointing to the hour and to the half hour point between two numbers, which can be confusing. If this functionality was updated to fix this, it would be a very good app.
