Fantastic app - low prices for great seats!
I’m a fair beginner fan of theatre and only started using this app for few months. It’s so far one of the best you can find on Apple Store and a must to have purely if you want to get the best offers/lowest prices for great seats: very easy to navigate and incredibly user friendly. Most of the available shows are listed in a clear and organised way, all you have to do is search through them. The purchase is quick, thank you reserving the seat for 10mins that’s plenty of time to rethink buying it, and the tickets are ready for collection at the box office, no need to print it, just come and show your ID. The only minus for me is lack option to select your seat: I’m sure the system picks the best seat available but often I want to seat a few rows further than in the front seat. Other apps when they have promotion, all discounted seats are highlighted on the seating plan so you know which are lower priced and so can pick the seat for your preference, plus for group booking (2/3+) that could allow us to select seats together or split into pair or singles for the best view possible - I hope TodayTix may add that too, please? Otherwise, is it a fabulous ticketing app with many lotteries and a rush scheme which allows more and more people to enjoy the magic and beauty that theatre offers.
So easy to use
This app is brilliant! Great design, so easy to navigate through the shows and selecting dates and prices you wish to pay. Once confirmed tickets can be collected from the box office. Never had any problems at all. My only issue is I only go to a show if I can get an aisle seat. Would be such a help if something could be built in with a seat preference button. Tick if an aisle seat is required. As it is now you have to wait until tickets get bought and keep selecting in the hope that an aisle seat appears. Other than that which is purely a customer service suggestion and not a complaint, I cannot daily this app or the company!
Needs Improvement to Email Address Update
Having updated my email address on my account unfortunately I am still receiving emails to my old email address. I have contacted customer support and am told to unsubscribe newsletters sent to my old email address and resubscribe with my new email address, even though I have updated my email address on my account. However I am not at the same time receiving any newsletters to my new updated email address.
I think that when emails are sent out that there should be a change to the info at bottom of each email address so that people can update their email address from their as well as through their account. It just causes unnecessary confusion and hassle.
