Simple and effective


I’ve used a bunch of task managers over the years and never really gelled well, when i tried out todoist premium at first I thought wow this feels simple compared to other paid task manager apps, but actually it is very powerful but with a simple to understand interface. Since moving over my productivity is through the roof and I don’t spent half my time messing around organising tasks rather than actually doing.

The addition of the sirikit international has made this perfect for my needs now as I don’t need to use an iffft workflow to capture on the move.

Limited but usable


The app is better than the web version but it's still too limited. It has potential but the developers keep adding low value and often quite annoying automation and smart text features without implementing fundamental ones like an undo feature (that's right, you can't undo!). It's also too easy to mess up the hierarchy of tasks and I'm constantly having to correct things.

The implementation of comments is also poor. I'd like it if you could tap on a task to see the comments immediately as that's how I track task progress. Constantly having to move between screens so it's slow. And this pushes you to using the task headline for tracking just so you can see it quickly (which is of course messy).

Also for some reason it's easy to accidentally add a task as the next year and no way to filter search for them.

The app also has an annoying bug - when you update the due time for a task, it doesn't update in iOS notifications. So I keep getting out of date notifications, ie the notifications are unusable for me.
