When a young Lara Croft is shipwrecked on an uncharted island, she enters a fight for survival armed with nothing but her instincts. Help Lara perfect her natural gifts as she embarks on a perilous journey to save her friends and escape the island’s murderous inhabitants.
Scavenge vital resources, upgrade Lara’s gear and improve her exploration, combat and survival skills to fight back against vicious enemies. Jump and climb through dense forests, treacherous mountains and WWII bunkers to discover how an ordinary young woman became Lara Croft, Tomb Raider.

Great game.

This is a really great game, I was going to get Arkham City (which I have all ready played on Xbox), but I decided on this one as it was half price. At first the controls were a little tricky to get used to, but after a little session it started to flow. I’m playing on my MacBook Pro Retina and using just the mousepad and keyboard and I am getting along fine, just takes a little getting used to.
The one problem I had was when I first started the game, my resolution was set to 1440x900 and the game was pretty laggy and I thought it was because the settings in game, i turned the quality down and everything was ugly looking and it still ran slow. Now it couldn’t have been my MacBook, because it was bought in September, brand new. I found that changing the game resolution at the startup menu made the computer run so smoothly. Mine’s on 1024x760 now. I turned all the graphic settings up and it still runs perfectly.
Anyway, the game is great so far, I’m really enjoying it. It’s a must buy for any Tomb Raider fan!

Feral Interactive have always set the bar extrodinarily high in the quality of their games but they have created a breakthrough within the latest edition of Tombraider which not only extinguishes all competition in games for the Mac but which has created a new chapter for gameplay altogether. The astronomical graphics immerse the player in the gameplay which is accompanied by an excellent music score and realistic sound effects. The game excells itself with close up combat and nerve breaking action and is nicely balanced with a developing story line along with physics based challenges which add to further immerse the player within the game. The game runs extremely smoothly on the standard specifications of the iMac without any glitches whatsoever. This game has created an exciting future for gameplay by going beyond the margins of ideas in gameplay previosuly created for the Mac.

I am over 30 years old and well, enjoy more to work on my own adventures in real life but sometimes I like to check out what the game industry has come up with over the years. Most 3d shooters give me the headaches and I found their stories are to bad. Most of the games I tried are also to painful when you get stuck for too long in some levels that it becomes very annoying for me and I stop playing. I don’t have too much time to play so it’s nice if you can make progress.
Anyway this game is the absolute opposite…. I could not stop playing, it was really fun, exciting, the graphic fast stunning and functions easy enough to get quickly use to it. I only hope for more parts to come, this game is fantastic!!! Full points from me for this brilliant game! Fun pure!! Lara Croft Rocks!
