Pointless - can’t find credit report.
Signed up to see my credit report with Call Credit, but they couldn’t find a credit report for me. I see from some other reviews that I’m not alone.
I have reviewed my Experian and Equifax reports and had noted some inaccuracies that needed correcting, so I wanted to check against the third credit reference company.
Following the failure to obtain my report I contacted their help desk and received the following (excerpt):
There are a number of verification steps in the authentication process that we follow every time we request data from Callcredit. And based on the details you provided this time, we are unable to access the data needed to produce your Credit Report.
In some cases, this is because the personal information used to sign up does not match the information supplied to Callcredit by lenders. Please contact your lenders and credit card issuers directly to check.
I’ve had several mortgages, loans and credit cards as well as utilities, and have been on the electoral roll for over 25-years - all under the same name and address as was provided. So, I’m rather surprised that they still can’t find me! They did, however, have sufficient information to provide financial products to sell to me as ‘offers’...
I’ve cancelled my account and chalked it up to a poor implementation of an app.

We use the information you provide to us when registering to match with the details that are held on you by Callcredit. Unfortunately, it appears that Callcredit have been unable to match these details.
This could be because Callcredit have been provided with incorrect information on you. You can request your statutory report from Callcredit to check the information that is being held on you. If you do notice any errors, you can then arrange for these to be rectified.
Unfortunately, as this is provided by Callcredit we are unable to provide further information on what has caused this problem.
The offers you mentioned are not provided by Callcredit however. We may have been able to show this as we don't rely on the information from them and instead use the information provided when registering your account.

Good app but...
It’s a good app and it gives you a clear breakdown of up to date bills like phone contracts and retail shopping accounts.
I’ve had the app for almost one month (tomorrow 9 aug 18) and my August report is due on the 9th. However it’s a few days before and my credit score went down by 10, however I’m unsure as to why, as I know there’s no outstanding bills on my credit. A bit confused?
I will update tomorrow if the issue is resolved.
Overall I like the app.

Unfortunately, we are unable to specify the reason your Credit Score has decreased, although small fluctuations are not abnormal.

Clearscore is far superior!
I saw an advert for this so thought I would give it a go. Set up hours ago but still showing my score as 0 and then logs me out of the app. When I log back in, it cannot give me any info about my accounts, score, report etc. If this is because I have only just joined then I suggest that the developers email or put a message on the app to say it takes a certain amount of time before your score is available. Did not have these issues with clearscore - it was instant and is totally reliable. Wouldn’t not recommend.
