Trailforks is a trail database & map with over 650,000 trails. Users can contribute data and then local trail associations have the control to approve & curate the data.

Fantastic app
App works perfectly, as it has done from day one, and so many more features now, had it since it was first released, love using it to look for new places to ride and routes to follow
Useless
Used to be my go-to when out on the bike, now you can't access anything without a subscription, so no trail names or information of any sort is available without one. They don't even let you zoom in on the map to view the trails as it just makes the screen turn black and brings up the "subscribe to access this feature" message.
Massive shame, no point rating anything higher than 1 star as it's essentially just a map with some coloured squiggles on that you can't zoom in on unless you pay £60 a year. A donation system would have been much better, or even an increase in ads while using the app, or a subscription system that doesn't block access to absolutely every useful feature, as this new paywall is completely ridiculous.
Doesn’t work/don’t pay for it
I was doing a three day riding break somewhere I don’t know the trails. Paid for the annual Pro sub to have access to the trails names etc. It didn’t work. I tried doing what the app recommended. I reached out to the app designer regarding this and to date have not received a reply or been able to access Pro. All payments were made on the day I ‘bought’ Pro, so will now be going through apple to try get reimbursed. Don’t pay for this app
