The app uses your location to send you personalised hotel, restaurant, attraction and holiday rental recommendations as well as remember the places you visited via our Travel Timeline feature. These locations are collected even if the app is in the background. Location settings can be configured in the Settings app.

Bad from the outset - one upset wife - never again!!
The worst hotel in a long time! For a start off this trip was for my birthday my wife had spent out on. She searched high and low and thought this will be a nice place as it’s expensive - how wrong could we be. Totally overrated! Mould spores in the walls of the bathroom and on the floor. All tiles dirty grout. Cobwebs on the ceilings, wallpaper coming away, filler around the ceiling extractor... No instructions for heating - bed hard and bed base a lot larger than mattress! Waited 7 minutes at ‘wait here to be seated’ sign before we were seen to! Only one girl doing the bar and restaurant.... waited ten minutes for drinks to come. Ordered food and when the black pudding didn’t turn up, I queried it to be told ‘yes sorry we have no black pudding’ - why not tell me when I ordered it!? She said she’d knock something off but nothing was discounted so we have up and left. Once back to the hotel room the fire alarm went off at 10:30pm. It went on for about a minute at which point we were dressed and half way down the corridor and then it stopped!
Just an absolute joke. DO NOT STAY HERE unless it’s half the price! My poor wife paid £120.... plus £45 in the restaurant!!!!!
I’ve been doing this for a few years now and have tons of badges! I do it to help people on their travels and to reward staff by name for great service. I find that the app/site lets me down so much by not allowing me to post photos, not posting a review when it says it has and crashing! For example, I promised a fantastic review to my last stay only to find the previous one hadn’t gone!!!! I tweaked the last review to match this stay but I was going round in circles to try to post pics but it wouldn’t let me! They just wouldn’t show! I’m really mugged by this as it’s not the first time this has happened. Also, my trips and stays just don’t seem to be logged!!! What’s going on??? I get no rewards as to me all these badges are crazy. How about a voucher for something appropriate to my travels! Yelp is far easier and reviews can be edited. Please get your act together and sort these problems out! I am not techno illiterate and no way can I sort this problem with my vast experience with iPhones, apps and knowledge. Much appreciated. Please get back to me.
Poor Customer Service
Christmas dinner with workmates - Decided to go to the Beacon at Dartford ordering a glass of Prosecco at our table. Taking a tiny sip the drink was so flat which Prosecco is normally bubbly - Complained to waitress and decided to get bottle instead in maybe better than small bottles. Manager came and informed that we would have to pay for glasses we had also. I demanded that I was not going to pay but did not apologise nothing and she was adamant we would have to pay.
We didn't have the bottle and my two colleagues had their one back but I said no I want J20 - I didn't pay for the glass of Prosecco- I thought that her management skills was appalling, I had to ask her to apologise! What happened to The customers are always right!!!!
Steak was so chewy and appalling too - Spoiled our evening together too. Do not have their little bottle of Prosecco that's all I say!
