High hopes flushed away
Have heard great reviews about this place and booking in advance an apparent must. The place was nicely busy on arrival. Starters were delicious. Ordered a Goan Chicken for main but as I started eating my first bite it tasted more like a spongy goo. Another mouthful made me think my order must be wrong. Managed to get the attention of a staff member who went to check and they had indeed given me a vegetable kofta. Asked if I wanted to change it - definitely! Correct dish now arrives - no apology, no clean plate and the naan is now cold. Chicken rather dubious in colour and too much sauce to pad the dish out. Started to feel dizzy by the end of the meal and have been on the loo since coming home. Something definitely not right about the main...very disappointed, won't be going back!
Villa Imperamare Santa Maria Castellabate
Where do i begin?? My daughter got married in Santa Maria on Saturday the 8th July 2017, we stayed in the beautiful Villa Imperamare, this little treasure of a B&B run by the absolutely most beautiful person in the world along with her beautiful mum, the place is absolutely stunning, never seen anywhere as spotless as this place, Nothing was ever too much trouble for Alfonsina, very relaxing will definately be back here to stay, infact cannot wait to return, breakfast was lovely, fruit, yoghurt, cake, rolls, cold meat, cheese and the list goes on. All our love to this beautiful family 💜💜
Plaza hotel Sorrento
Absolutely brilliant hotel! Everything you could want! So near to the centre of Sorrento, staff amazing so attentive and nothing too much trouble including on the last day they let us have a room to change and shower in which we really appreciated! Also a stunning looking hotel and beautifully furnished, rooftop pool and skybar just lovely! Thanks! Linda Panter
