It's ok for what it is

It's an app that lets us watch live tv on a mobile device, not much I can say about it, it does exactly what it's meant for. I decided it was only worth 3 stars due to the fact a wifi connection is required for a couple of channels, not sure why it won't let me watch them using my mobile data like the other channels. If I'm watching tv on a mobile device it means I'm probably watching it on the go where I don't have access to a tv so if I'm out I'm gunna wanna use my mobile data to watch. Not really sure why it's called tvcatchup since all the channels are live broadcasts and you can't catch up on any programmes you may have missed, would make more sense calling it tvlive

Great base service and channel list, but missing one key feature...

I always use TV Catchup on my laptop for live TV and, some buffering issues aside, it's a great service.

The app is just as good in terms of its core use and performance, but I find myself using ToView instead as it has picture in picture support. I often watch TV in picture in picture mode whilst browsing the web etc. and so don't have much use for the TV Catchup app unless this feature is added.

Watching without WIFI..,

People who have said they can't use mobile data to view... go to setting and change the toggle on mobile data to always or on as it's set to never as standard. I've done it and am able to steam without wifi just mobile data. Hope that helps.
