Description

Twitter is now available for Apple Watch.

Tweet, Retweet, reply and favorite in a flash. Quickly see recent Tweets and top trends. Share your location, a song, or your thoughts with a flick on the wrist. It's Twitter, but littler.
_

Twitter is a free app that lets you connect with people, express yourself, and discover more about all the things you love.

See what your favorite celebs and athletes are chatting about. Be the first to hear breaking news. Catch a glimpse behind the scenes at concerts, sporting events, and more.

Then join the conversation: Tweet your own text, photos, and video to your followers — and maybe make a few fans along the way.

Get inspired. Be social. Even send private messages to friends. All in real time, as big (and little) things happen, from anywhere you happen to be.

What's New in Version 6.35.1

Send a private message without limits: now you're no longer limited to 140 characters when writing a Direct Message.

Customer Reviews

I have an idea!

Hello Twitter users and App Store incorporated. My idea is to add an italics feature, so that when you send a tweet (and/or dm, that's up to you Twitter whizzes.) you can type some words (or all of you want) in italics! Also, bold text could be good too! I think it would help the communication as it would put emphasis on the words you want to stand out to the people reading your tweets, also it helps with sarcasm. Thank you for reading my review I really hope you take it into account as I would love to be able to do this! (Also, I gave you a 5 star rating so, you know, I'm not bribing you or anything but ..)

Still No Trending On iPhone

Unbelievably, after over a month I am still unable to see trends on the iPhone app. I press the search button and a blank screen just comes up. Twitter needs to have a long hard look at itself if this is how it expects to be able to treat its customers. It ignores the large amount of very negative reviews left on the App Store, ignores the many tweets that get sent to them on a daily basis on their own medium, which is quite unacceptable. Gone are the days where twitter were deemed the more relevant of the social media, you're just as bad as Facebook. Also, as one other reviewer points out- update an app= no reviews anymore. This may be a cynical view, but I definitely would not put it past twitter.

Enhanced App!

[sees update for Twitter]

"Improved Twitter App!
New in this version:
* pointless UI update nobody asked for!
* removal of even more useful functionality! Now you can no longer view your followers and following! :)
We are working hard to bring you pointless and annoying updates so the app does yet less than average third party apps, please consider leaving a review!"

[facepalms]

...except of course they have stopped bothering to even update the text with the update- it still has the message about removing character limits from DMs. The UI changes aren't even mentioned in the update notes. Incredibly poor and apparently untested update. Shocking for a big company like Twitter struggling to build a bigger base of new users.

UPDATE: I write this then viewing followers/following returns (note other users have noted the lack of ability to view followers/following btw so it's not "just me"). A patch perhaps? Be better if you just properly tested updates though #amIrite?
